Active Ingredients

Rosa damascena (Rose) Oil is very rich in vitamin C, which makes it especially beneficial for stimulating collagen (for smoother skin) and correcting skin tone imbalance to maintain skin’s natural brightness, both of which promote a more youthful appearance. Oil from Rosa damascena is also incredibly nourishing and hydrating. 

Organic Orbignya oleifera (Babassu) Butter is extracted from the seeds of the babassu palm. Its anti-inflammatory properties make it a popular method for soothing minor skin irritations and promoting skin’s youthful elasticity. Babassu oil contains skin-protecting antioxidants, as well as nourishing fatty acids, including lauric, oleic and stearic acids. It’s considered a highly effective emollient (skin moisturizer), similar to coconut oil in properties and benefits. Unlike coconut oil, however, babassu oil is lightweight and leaves no greasy residue. 

Vaccinium macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil is rich in natural antioxidants, including vitamin E tocotrienols and tocopherols, which help to protect skin from oxidative damage that leads to signs of aging, as well as soothe minor irritations. Cranberry Seed Oil is also an excellent source of anti-inflammatory essential fatty acids, which nourish, protect and hydrate delicate skin. 

Rosa canina (Rosehip) Oil contains helpful fatty acids, which provide long-lasting nourishment and moisture for the skin. Rosehip oil is also rich in vitamins A and C, which help brighten and smooth skin, by encouraging cell turnover and providing antioxidant protection from skin-damaging free radicals. These nutrients and properties make rosehip oil a beloved anti-aging ingredient to prevent wrinkles.

Salvia sclarea (Clary Sage) Oil is extracted from a biennial plant native to the northern Mediterranean basin, North Africa and central Asia. It helps regenerate the skin, as well as soothe and calm minor irritations; it can even offer soothing support to tired muscles. Clary Sage Oil is also said to have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
