Purpose:

This mild peel works wonders on aging skin and hyperpigmentation! It works efficiently at removing dead skin, purifying the pores, washing off the melanin build-up, fading sun spots and stimulating collagen and elastin.

African Hibiscus: The " Botox Plant"!! One of the most powerful anti-ageing plant actives, Hibiscus has a magical reputation for increasing skin elasticity to give a stunning natural youth-boost. Hibiscus has an incredible ability to inhibit the activity of the enzyme elastase, which is responsible for breaking down our skin’s precious elastin, Hibiscus actively combats the ageing process by firming and lifting your skin.

Hibiscus contains natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids, with meakes it a wonderful mild skin exfoliant.

African Rooibos: Rooibos tea also contains zinc, which has shown potential to help treat common skin conditions such as eczema and acne. Rooibos also contain superoxide dismutase, which has anti-aging properties and helps to slow down skin ageing. Superoxide dismutase is an enzyme that works to produce healthy skin cells. This enzyme works alongside other antioxidants in rooibos to fight free radicals that can accelerate the aging process. Rooibos extract has a very soothing effect, it reduces irritation and redness and promotes an even skin tone.

Licorice Root Extract: One of the most potent and active compounds of licorice root extract is Glabridin, which has skin lightening properties and prevents the production of the enzyme tyrosinase, which is responsible on the pigmentation in the skin.

African Ximenia Oil: Ximenia Oil has been used topically by African women for centuries, thanks to it's ability to soothe red and inflamed skin, keep acne and skin aging at bay, and promote a soft, even complexion.

How to use it:

After cleansing and exfoliating the skin, apply and massage into the skin for 1-3 minutes, then leave the mask on for up to 20 minutes. For a stronger treatment ( for clients with resilient skin, Fitzpatrick 1 to 4 only), you may layer over it with Cloudberry & Pomegranate Mask, and / or Saffron & Turmeric Mask for up to 20 minutes total.
